From September 2007 to late October 2014, Holben served as the technical editor and "DV101" columnist for Digital Video magazine (formerly DV). His work for the publication has included more than 200 articles. In addition, Holben was a frequent contributor to Videography, Digital Video's sister magazine, until 2011 when the two publications merged.
